London Strings is proud to specialise in violin and cello Bollywood repertoire – and are one of the only Bollywood duos in London! If you want to wow your guests and also add some style to your event, you’re in the right place!

If a duo is a little out of your price range, a solo violinist is also an excellent choice. 

Whether you are looking for only Bollywood music or a mixture of Bollywood and pop, or perhaps some special music for your entrance and first dance, we would be thrilled to play for your Asian event.

 We are able to perform one special song not on the list below for free, so do let us know when you inquire if you have any special request.

You are welcome to hire an electric violinist or electric violin and cello duo for an extra fee, please let us know about this when you inquire. We will provide our own PA system with this, which will ensure that our music will carry to all corners of the hall.

When should I start looking for musicians for my wedding? Can I hire musicians at the last minute?

While we highly recommend booking early to take advantage of lower prices and to secure our availability before your date becomes fully booked. We recommend around 9 months prior to your wedding date. For example, at the time of writing it is now early 2023, and we already have around 30 bookings for 2024!  People have been smart in booking early to guarantee lower prices, due to inflation we highly recommend booking earlier than later. 

However we can certainly do our best to accommodate last minute booking requests! In fact, we have never turned down a customer to date, some even booking live music the evening before! So you may be in luck if you inquire.

Terms & conditions

Once we have agreed on the details of your booking, we will email you a contract and invoice with your booking details. Our payment terms are a 25% non-refundable deposit to secure your booking and the remaining balance is due 21 days before the event. Payment is made via bank transfer or card payment. For clients wishing to pay via Credit or Debit card, this can be arranged securely via Pay+. A transaction fee of 4.7% applies on Pay+ bookings.
